| Post subject: | Antenna layout in E-Pylon racer |
I am new to this sport. I have a question and hope you experts out there can help me: The electric pylon racers are very small. Where do you put the antenna? Dragging at at the tail, coiled it in the fuse or cut the extra? I am concerning about the extra electrical noise of the motor and so I think good radio reception is a must. Some base loaded antennas or strip antennas are very small in size. I know they have been used in electric helicopters. Can they be used in pylon racers? |

Hi CM, A good question. I got good results with DLG. However, those bought such anntena dare not to test it on their valuable racer!! I can borrow you mine for testing on YOUR speedy racer! |

Very good answer, Ah Yeung, I really suggest you use YOUR OWN RACER to have a trail, CM |

Yes, Ah Yeung, use your own racer for I do not have one now I am planning to build a simple wood / foam little racer using cheap speed 400. You guys need one to take the last place, right? Hey hey, anyone can tell me where to put the antenna. |
