高佬生兄，上次在馬鞍山跟你研究建造新的和更專業的桿，以下有兩幅圖可作參考。 以我觀察，他們的造法主要是用兩支鋁杆，架起三角形架，架的中央高處放下一條短的鋸杆(大約半米長) ，在這短杆兩端各有一條繩，申廷至前方和後方地上，用營釘固定，線審就座在中間，以兩條線視覺上成一直線平面決定飛機過點。 這種造法既方便架設又輕考。好明顯，兩支鋸杆是可申縮或接縛的，兩支鋸杆底部只是微微插入地上定位，不需特別長釘固定，因兩條繩線和其營釘才是固定主力。 我相信如果我們想造到更輕便，可改裝兩支申縮魚杆代替兩支鋸杆。如果請你幫忙造，有沒有問題？

May be a tripod for camera (tiny one) serve as the top section directly and easily, then extended by the aluminium tubings for camping. Johnson |

I also got two tiny camera tripods, if we can extend its two legs down with two aluminum poles to ground and one other leg hangs out with two strings attached as similar to their design, we can pretty easy have a professional pole setup. There is also an advantage that we can attach a camera on top of the tripod which is triggered to take a snap shot by the switch of base judge, then we can record every image when a model turns at the base. This may be used as evidence in case of complaint; at least this put some pressures to base judge to do an accurate and fair job.

Then why don't we use something like our home-made tripod for determining the turning position in Speed and Distance task of F3B? See photo img00084.jpg in the F3B forum. It is light-weight, portable, easy to set up and for judging/aligning a vertical panel. We'll just need two. 1 at Point A and 1 at Point B. However, in consideration into those die-hard pilots who always want a close turn around these objects, a large and strong tripod can provide some kind of protection to the line-keepers. This light-weight tripod won't stand hard

The tripod is not going to replace the flag which is in the line of flying track. The judge should be as far back as possible. |

Albert, 我地所指的三腳架唔係咁大和咁重的影相機架，是指手挽那種拉長後只有一尺左右的小型腳架，只要將其中兩隻腳用申縮鋁杆或魚延長落地，第三隻腳就用來穿兩條線拉落地再用營釘固定，兩條線就用作過點的視線平面。這樣設計應該好簡單，可用現成小型三腳座，加兩支魚杆即可，輕便又容易架設。 |

Stanley, Fishing rod is not suitable, because it can't withstand any compression pressure. I think two sets of camping tubes with some strings will do. It's strong & light weight. No need for any small tripod. use strings |
